Profile: Baikui Rui Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Biocreatech) was established in 2019, located in the incubator of Tianjin institute of industrial biotechnology, Chinese academy of sciences, in the Tianjin Airport Economic Area, and moved into the Engineering Biology Industry Innovation Center in Guangming District, Shenzhen, in May 2021. On August 8th, the SCUT-China-S team visited Biocreatech for a study tour. During this valuable face-to-face exchange, we had an in-depth conversation with Mr. Li, who not only introduced us to the foundation and growth trajectory of Biocreatech but also provided a thorough analysis of the company's core innovation in research and development, as well as the cutting-edge principles and technological advancements in synthetic biology. Mr. Li's insights into the future of synthetic biology gave us a deeper understanding of the close connection between scientific research and industrial development. We also presented our team's achievements and progress over the past few months, providing a detailed overview of our research directions. Our work was recognized and praised by Mr. Li, who also offered us numerous valuable suggestions for improvement, which were incredibly beneficial to us. Additionally, we had the opportunity to exchange ideas with members of the SCUT-China-A team, where we shared our respective project progress. Towards the end of the event, we were fortunate to visit the company's fermentation platform, which gave us a tangible sense of the company's technological capabilities and further inspired our thoughts on the application prospects of synthetic biology. The entire visit not only expanded our knowledge but also fostered friendship and cooperation between our teams.
