Silver Medal Criteria
1. Engineering Success
We completed one engineering cycle of the wet lab and one engineering cycle of the hardware.
(1)Wet lab Cycle: build a engineering E.coli to produce laccase.
(2)Hardware cycle: Embed laccase into UHWMPE membrane.
2. Human Practices
(1) We conducted a questionnaire survey to understand the degree of concern of inland people about marine pollution.
(2) We carried out popular science education activities on synthetic biology in middle schools.
(3) We conducted interviews with experts.
(4) We conducted communication with other iGEM team. We summarized the information that is beneficial for future iGEMers.
