We offer various research and educational tools that are beneficial to future iGEM teams and the society.

Our project can aid future teams in advancing detection and cure of prostate cancer via the detection of Gluc and the release of BAX that triggers cell apoptosis.

We have designed a curriculum and lessons with a set of learning materials for junior form students about cancer. We teach students about the risk factors of cancer, the concept of mutation, and the advantages and disadvantages of traditional methods to kill cancer cells. The lessons are designed to help students know more about cancer. Dispelling the misconception and raising awareness about prostate cancer and other cancers. After the lessons, students are assigned to finish a set of worksheets about what they have learnt during the lesson which helps them solidify their knowledge.

We designed a game named Immunity Clash, about how cancer cells and immune cells work. The game simulates the immune cells killing cancer cells while cancer cells retaliate by starving the immune cells of its nutrients. This game is designed to let others learn more about cancer in a more fun and interesting way. We seek to enrich their understanding of cancer-related processes.

Providing five tips to encourage others to have prostate cancer screening, along with some cancer facts, our handouts aim to raise awareness of prostate cancer. To maximize accessibility and engage a wider audience, handouts are available in both Chinese and English, both online and in reality.

Apart from these, we have also documented some composite parts on the registry page, which are PSMA_GFP (BBa_K5441010), PSMA_Gluc (BBa_K5441012) and Pb_Gluc_BAX (BBa_K5441016). For details, please refer to the parts page.

Moreover, we have documented our troubleshooting process in plasmid construction. For more, please refer to the engineering page and notebook page.
