Hi. I’m Yvonne Gong, currently attending Shanghai Pinghe School, and am interested in biology, psychology, art, and rowing. These hobbies carry almost all of my personal characteristics and make me suitable to attend team-working activities like IGEM. As a lively and cheerful girl, I am honored to participate in IGEM 2024, believing I can help improve the relationship between team members. Also, with sufficient knowledge on the aspect of gene editing, it’s easier for me to cooperate with members when we meet difficulties in the experiment.

Hi, my name is Zou Shanni, also named Sunny, I come from a beautiful coastal city——Xiamen. I am a student preparing to enter Grade 10. My personality is as warm and positive as the sun, just like my name. Both business and social sciences are of great interest to me, which is why I joined the dry teamwork, which I really enjoy! With a passion for science and a commitment to making a meaningful impact, I'm excited to contribute my energy and enthusiasm to our project. I have a wide range of interests, especially in business and computer science.I'm a detail-oriented person, and this trait serves me well in both my studies and daily life. I'm also quite good at communicating with others, which helps me build good relationships. I'm always ready to embrace challenges as they are the driving force for my growth.I'm taking part in this project with the hope of exploring these fields more deeply through teamwork. Hello, my name is Gu Lantang, and my English name is Gary. I come from a modern city——Shanghai. I'm 16 years old and I am a student preparing to enter Grade 11. I choose to participate in igem because I have a strong interest in economics and hope to make achievements in this field in the future. I believe that teamwork and creativity are the keys to success, so I actively maintained communication with my team members throughout the competition. I am very happy to work with my dear teammates and I hope that our project and our friendship can become even better and contribute to the world together in the future.

Hello everyone, I'm Jasper Xing. I'm a 17-year-old youth from Shanghai, China. I like listening to music and playing video games. Biology and chemistry are very attractive to me, which is also a big reason that why I am attracted to this competition. This year is my first time to participate in the iGEM event, and I am very excited about it. I served as the team leader of the wet team in our group, leading the team members to carry out experiments and research. I have accumulated more laboratory experience while working on the project. What's more, I also hope to have more socializing during the event to exercise my social skills.

I'm Ronda Jin from Shanghai Pinghe School. Known for my versatility, friends often describe me as someone with a wide range of hobbies, including traveling, photography, football, and badminton. I am always eager to explore new areas. My aspiration is to delve into biological science in the future and make meaningful contributions to the field. Being part of our iGEM team this year has been enriching, offering me more than just experimental and teamwork experiences. It's been a privilege to be a member of the H-Sweet team. I’m Jiayu Tao, and you can call me Joy. I’m from Shanghai Pinghe School. In the following semesters, I will be entering grade 11. Almost everyone who knows me would consider me as an outgoing and diligent girl, so I’m sure all of you can make friends with me. I am a member of our IGEM team and I have great passion in this program. I’ve always been really into biology. In my spare time I like to play Frisbee and play football. I find great fun participating in such activities. Not only do I get stronger, but I also enjoy the joy I received during the process of cooperation.

I’m very glad to join IGEM this time because I’m very into biology and engineering, in which I’ve participated in many relevant activities and still looking for more. Hi everyone, my name is Hanyu Xiao. I'm studying at Shanghai Pinghe School, and will be in grade 11 next semester. My interests are Biology, Environmental Sciences, cycling, and arts & crafts. I am grateful for this opportunity to engage with fellow members of our iGEM team H-Sweet, and to create something meaningful through collaboration and teamwork. This experience has horned my communication skills along the many hands-on skills I've acquired throughout our experiments. This has been an experience I will never forget.

I like to get in touch with all kinds of new things and subjects, that's also the reason why I participate iGEM. Through this program, together we write and create many wonderful ideas. My name is Zicheng Wang, and is currently studying in Shanghai Minhang Crosspoint academy. I am currently studying in grade 10 and majors in biology and life science. I like biology and work on this program to help more people with my knowledge. I have worked in a pharmaceutical company as an internship. This gives me experience on how to handle lab equipment and protocols carefully, as well as help my lab members out when they need help, such as weighing material and setting up incubation environments. This is how I have contributed to make the project better and faster. I am part of the wet lab.

Hi, I am Yuxuan Qi currently attending Yeast Production Plant for Healthy Sugar Substitute - D-alorulose. My interests are playing saxophone, chess, and enjoying the music. My major is Biology, because my ideal career is a dentist. It is a great pleasure for me to participate the IGEM 2024 and I hope to have a time of both harvest and joy with my teammates and the opponents. I’ve learnt how to make a detailed, completed note of the experiments that help us a lot on the final results and the comprehensive review. And I found that I am good at deal with the relationship between the others. I hope we will have a satisfied prize in this competition!

Hey everyone, my name is Jenny. I am currently 18 years old and will be entering grade 12 at the start of the semester in Shanghai Minhang Wenqi Crosspoint Academy. To let you know me better, I am especially into dancing, kpop, skiing, photography, traveling, listening to music, writing short novels, and numerous other activities. During the preparation process of the IGEM competition, I actively participated as one of the members in the wet team. This valuable experience has taught me a variety of knowledge - both scientifically based and socially based - that I will never forget even thirty years later in the future. I am also excited to implement our experimental results - the new product of our better sugar supplement - in real life with the people around me, carrying with me both priceless knowledge and the road to a healthier future.
