Future Directions

In order to take our project to the next step our team has set a few research goals. Given more time and resources, we would like to spend more time testing the enzyme PFK1’s interaction with the Biofilm. We would also test out other similar enzymes that could result in a weaker and less stable Biofilm. Lastly, after defining the optimal enzyme for Biofilm degradation, our team would research hydrogels for implementing a specific plasmid, designed for C. Acnes.
