The name of famous detectors are attributed to some high-sensitive miRNA detection systems, like DETECTOR, SHERLOCK, CONAN. Following this tradition, this project was named "POIROT," inspired by the famous Belgian-born detective Hercule Poirot created by Agatha Christie.
When designing a wiki, the selection of a color palette is crucial. Colors not only provide a pleasant impression to users but also help in understanding the content and experimental results accurately. Additionally, it must follow universal design principles. People with protanopia, the most common type of color vision deficiency, have difficulty distinguishing between green and red. In this wiki, care has been taken to ensure that people with protanopia can differentiate all objects without relying on color alone.
Illustrations and animations can aid in understanding complex content. In this project, it is necessary to accurately represent reactions where DNA, miRNA, and enzymes are intricately intertwined. To visually represent various amplification systems in a consistent manner, we used these manners.
