In March we met for a brainstorming weekend as complete strangers with a wide range of ideas.
Soon after, the everyday life of an iGEM’er began with plasmid design, lab work, logo design, social media content and so much more... But of course we had fun in between!
We also had some time to meet with other iGEM teams at different events.
But when wiki freeze came around the corner, we were well... a bit stressed, to say the least. So we incorporated some fun and games to lighten the mood...
... and then before we knew it, we were friends on a flight to Paris to present our passion-project at the Grand Jamboree and make a bunch of new memories!
This journey has definitely been challenging but also incredibly rewarding. We have learned new skills, met new people and made new friends.
We finish this chapter with a whole lot of memories that we will cherrish forever.
