This year, WHHS-China contributed 5 basic parts and 4 composite parts, completing a project focused on genetically engineered microbes for glyphosate degradation. The project utilizes a multi-module system designed through synthetic biology, where the phnE1-E2-phnJ module facilitates efficient glyphosate uptake and degradation. Additionally, the PcspA—mazF suicide system ensures biosafety in the environment. These parts provide an innovative solution for glyphosate pollution and offer potential support for future agricultural and environmental remediation efforts.
These parts will provide valuable support for future synthetic biology projects, especially in the fields of environmental bioremediation and biosafety.
