In this collaboration, the WHHS-China and WHHS-Pro-China teams both focused on phosphorus-related environmental protection projects. Our team worked on glyphosate treatment, while the WHHS-Pro-China team focused on phosphate recovery. Through our exchanges and joint activities, we not only deepened our understanding of each other's projects but also received valuable suggestions for project improvements. Together, we conducted interviews with tea farmers, discussed environmental protection initiatives, and visited a wastewater treatment plant to explore the connection between our projects, environmental protection, and social responsibility.

We had exchanges with WHHS-Pro-China and the Hubei University iGEM team. Through this exchange, we not only deepened our understanding of each other's projects, but also received more valuable suggestions on project improvement.

We conducted interviews with tea farmers together with WHHS-Pro-China. During the conversations with tea farmers, we learned that they use glyphosate for weed control and also gained a better understanding of the tea processing process.

In our communication with the public welfare organization, WHHS-Pro-China and we further explored the sustainable development path of the project. Through this interaction, we learned how to more closely integrate the project with environmental protection and social responsibility.

We visited a sewage treatment plant with the WHHS-Pro-China team and learned about the removal mechanism of glyphosate in the sewage treatment process.

Through our collaboration with WHHS-Pro-China, we gained a deeper understanding of environmental pollution issues and received valuable insights for our project implementation. Both teams contributed to solving phosphorus-related environmental challenges: WHHS-China focused on glyphosate treatment, while WHHS-Pro-China tackled phosphate recovery. This partnership highlights the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation in addressing global environmental challenges and advancing sustainable development goals.
