QU YANRUI Hi, my name is Qu Yanrui. I come from Shenyang, Liaoning. I'm a rising junior. As the team leader, I not only assign jobs to my group members, but also frequently gather group members’ minds. Together we spark up and create some wonderful creative ideas. Our group is a democracy system: everyone can fully express their idea in the decision making, and I took full consideration for each of their ideas. Also, I took full responsibility of my job, I keep focusing on the progress of our project, and communicate with my group members to keep it on track. Besides the active communication with my group members, I also discuss problems and share our ideas regularly with members in the wet lab. Overall, I’m glad to work together with those lovely people and I hope our program to go further and better!

YEZI LIU My name is Yezi Liu and I’m a member of this Gav³ team. I’m in grade 11 now and I’m learning IB course. In the past, I only learned the biological knowledge from my teachers, text books and the TV shows. This is the first time for me to do the experimental program, and I believe this program assists me to improve my practical skills. In this team, all of us are willing to invest time on conducting experiments and doing research to create new products for human wellbeing. It was enjoyable to work with my team members and cooperate with them to overcome various obstacles during this precious experience. After finishing this meaningful iGem program, I feel like I’m closer to my dream, that is to become a real biologist.

Now I am a member of Gav³ .I learned more about biochemistry and realized the impact of bacteria on people's lives by participating in the IGEM competition, and I hoped. Through my participation, I was able to learn more about rotavirus and participate in the experimental process, and effectively help people in need. BAOQI WANG Hello, i'm Wang Baoqi. I‘m 17 years old and I'm a senior three student from Yangzhou.My hobbies are basketball ，music and attires. In the wet team here, what l am doing is researching the problem of rotavirus.After all, I have not been exposed to similar knowledge content in my previous study and life, and this learning method has broaden my horizon..At the beginning of this experiment, unfamiliar classmates and serious experimental venues made me feel nervous. After the experience，I feel more confidence with my team members. I believe everything can be corrected, making me a better myself.
RUITONG XIAO My name is Sophie. I am 17 years old and I come from Shanghai, China. I have a deep passion for biology, especially synthetic biology, and I love conducting experiments in this field. My interest in synthetic biology started a few years ago when I learned about the potential of designing and building new biological parts, devices, and systems. Since then, I have been dedicated to learning as much as I can about this exciting area. I spend a lot of my free time reading scientific papers, watching educational videos, and even trying out small experiments at home. I enjoy the challenge of solving complex biological problems and the creativity involved in engineering new biological solutions. In my spare time, I also like to read science fiction, which often inspires new ideas for my experiments. Exploring nature and understanding the intricate details of life around me fuels my curiosity and drive for learning. TENGZHEN CAO Hello, this is Cao Tengzhen. Since grade ten, I have been studying in a high school in Shanghai, China. In daily life, I prefer to exercise or play games at home. The experience in iGEM allowed me to learn a lot of professional biological knowledge as well as knowledge about marketing or social time. My purpose in coming to iGEM is to experience the process of professional biological research and enjoy the process of scientific exploration. And use their own abilities to solve some problems for the society (such as the rotavirus vaccine research we chose this time). In the future, I also hope to apply the professional knowledge I have learned more into practice and make contributions to the world.
ZIYOU WEI Hi, my name is Wei,Ziyou. I’m 16 years old and currently studying in an international school in Suzhou. I’m attending aLevel courses and took math eco bio chem and physics. My goal is to study in JHU med school.
SIQI ZHANG My name is Siqi Zhang, I am 16 years old. My school is Shanghai United International School Wanyuan Campus. I joined iGem for two major reason: enhance my biology experiment skill and  also try to imply knowledge learnt in school to the real world experiment. Beside doing experiments, I enjoyed playing volleyball and tennis. Sports can makes me maintain a healthy physical condition. During the experiment I participated the gel electrophoresis, solid and liquid LB preparation, and also the culture cultivation.
