Engineering and Development of Collagen-based Rotavirus Subunit Vaccines
Rotavirus is a major causative agent of acute diarrhea in children under 5 years of age, causing about 200,000 deaths worldwide annually, mainly concentrated in developing countries and regions such as Africa and Southeast Asia. Despite improved vaccination and improved medical conditions, live attenuated vaccines remain less protective in some developing countries
INTRODUCTION TO ROTAVIRUS
Rotavirus is one of the main pathogens causing infant diarrhea. Infection of small intestinal epithelial cells leads to diarrhea, mainly transmitted through the fecal-oral route, often in summer, autumn and winter, the course of the disease is generally 6-7 days, and dehydration symptoms can occur in severe cases. The virus is diverse, with A species being the most common.
MISSION
Our purpose is to protect the intestinal health for more infants and young children. To this end, we attach great importance to the safety and effectiveness of our products.
WHO ARE WE? We are a research and development team to produce collagen-based rotavirus oligo-multi-titer subunit vaccine, hoping to further improve the intestinal health protection of infants aged 0-5 in China and even developing countries in Southeast Asia through the efficacy of nonstrains and vaccines.
