Tianyue Dai

Hi, I'm Tianyue Dai, a second-year high school student who enjoys reading, writing, listening to old songs, and telling dry jokes. I never thought I'd pursue biology, as I once saw science as serious and dull. But iGEM changed my view. I discovered biology is closely tied to life and full of potential to make a difference. Nearly 30 days in the lab showed me the joy of experimentation and solving problems, and I felt lucky to work with such reliable teammates. I'm grateful for their efforts, and I hope we can all continue in biology in future.

Ruoxi Du

My name is Ruoxi Du, and I am currently a second-year student at Chengdu Foreign Language School. I am deeply passionate about biology, reading, and musicals. In iGEM, I have experienced on my own how biology has the potential to change the world. The repeated problem-solving processes have given me a great sense of achievement. I feel fortunate to have worked alongside my reliable teammates, and we have overcome various challenges together. These precious experiences have further strengthened my determination to devote myself to the field of biology in the future.

Chenyu Zheng

Hi,My name is Chenyu Zheng. I'm a high school student in my second year. I've always loved reading science articles and science fiction since I was little, which got me really interested in biology. I'm also good at art. I like to draw creatively and use personification to show the physiological phenomena in different living things. This makes complicated biology simple and fun to understand.

Bonnie Song

Hi,I'm Bonnie Song, an eleventh grade student who enjoys calligraphy, piano and playing tennis. These hobbies allow me to get more like-minded friends. I love working in the lab every day, it makes me feel fulfilling, as does my passion for biology and chemistry.Participating in IGEM gave me a deeper understanding of the fun and practicality of biology, which made me more determined to be myself.Here I was deeply aware of the inseparable relationship between living things and human beings, as well as the diversity of genetic engineering.

Chloe Hao

I'm Chloe , an 11th grader. My passion for horse riding has ignited a deep interest in the relationship between humans and nature, driving me to explore how we interact with our environment. This love for the sport has also nurtured my enthusiasm for Biology, making it one of my favorite subjects.

Judy Li

Hello I am Judy Li , currently in 11th grade. I enjoy photography, which brings me peace and a profound enlightenment of tranquility. This hobby helped me develop interest in biology. As I learn more about biology, As I learn more depth in biology, I am continuously intrigued by the composition of life. That is also a reason for me to join the iGEM. It allowed me to get in touch with more biotechnologies, which made me recognize the rapid changes of the times. This unique experience has further motivated me to become a biological researcher in the future.

I'm excited to participate in this year’s iGEM competition. I look forward to gaining a deeper understanding of biological research while making new friends. My aspiration lies at the intersection between exploring the secrets of life and transforming knowledge into social impact. My passion for life science stems from my extensive experience observing evolutionary patterns in nature and engaging in community advocacy. Outside of school, I enjoy listening to piano, embarking on culinary adventures with unusual food pairings, and citywalk. I’m a big fan of Jay Chou and Vincent Fang.
