Engineering Cycle
The engineering cycle is, in essence, a set of methodological approaches designed to address real-world problems. This methodology and way of thinking can be applied across all fields of engineering, not just to synthetic biology, the development of biological parts, or the construction of genetic circuits. It lies between forward engineering and reverse engineering, emphasizing the refinement of solutions and designs through a modular approach and continuous iteration, ultimately leading to the creation of a system capable of performing the desired functions. Our project has applied engineering principles in almost every aspect, and this methodology has made significant contributions to the construction and design of our overall circuit, the improvement of measurement schemes, and the adjustment of cell culture plans.
