Hello everyone, my name is Friedman HUANG, a 16-year-old high school student. I have a passion for rowing and playing the saxophone. I joined IGEM because of my love for biology and chemistry, and my aspiration to further my studies in biomedical sciences in the future. During this IGEM experiment, I experienced the fun of biological experiments, which has sparked my interest in our project. I particularly enjoyed using biorender to complete my part of the PPT, as it gave me a great sense of accomplishment. I hope to apply the knowledge we've gained from this IGEM experience to help solve real-world problems for everyone.

In the lab, I am involved in various experiments, where I get the chance to explore and apply my knowledge in synthetic biology. Hello, I'm Vivian. Igem has given me the opportunity to really get into the lab and make the theory not be boring, from learning the theory to starting the experiment. Besides studying biology, I have many hobbies, equestrian, skiing, piano, badminton and so on. In my spare time, I will go travelling to experience different worlds. I'm Eric Yu. A beginner in the field of bioengineering, a zealot of badminton, an introverted student, a kind and responsible friend, and a participant in IGEM. As you can see, I'm a 16 years old child interested in biology. No matter labs or lecture, studying biology turns me on. It's my pleasure to participate in IGEM to work on biomedical technology and synthetic biology. I'm also glad to work on experiment recording, data analyzing and PPT creating with my fellow teammate from day to night and for me, this process already means more than the result to me. Hello everyone, I am Xu Taotao from Shandong. I am very glad that igem can give me such a chance to participate in this meaningful competition. In this ten-day offline research, under the macro-control of the leaders, the teaching help of the main and vice coaches and the mutual help and cooperation of the students, we finished ECN probiotic therapy for intestinal inflammation. In this short but fulfilling time, I have learnt a lot of knowledge that I have not been exposed to before, and with the teaching of the two teachers, the leadership of the captain and the joint efforts of the students, we have also got a great improvement in the theoretical knowledge and the ability of each field in the end. I am Kaitlyn Xu, a 15-year-old high school freshman with a strong interest in biology and chemistry. It is an honor for me to have participated in the IGEM program this year. I believe this experience is both invaluable and unforgettable, as it marks my first opportunity to conduct a real experiment. This program has equipped me with the skills to use various types of experimental apparatus and has allowed me to experience what it feels like to work as a scientific researcher. Throughout the program, I was responsible for introducing how enteritis occurs in the human body and for designing our experiment. This entire process has heightened my interest in biological experiments and provided me with an overview of what a researcher should do in the laboratory.

I'm Grayson Shui. I'm now 16 and aim to study psycology and biology in the future. Undoubtedly, the IGEM project gave me a lot more opportunities to see and learn about what biologists really do in a bio-lab. Also, while the school usually taught me biological theories, the IGEM project let me have the chance to use the theories in real experiments. Besides having experiments and courses, the process of making PPT and looking for information was also new to me. As recording and analysing the results, it is a vivid way for me to learn how to use the knowledge in a real situation. Hello, my name is Amie Ge. I'm from Shanghai and I'm a Grade 12 student from Living Word Shanghai. I have great interest in biology and animals, everything about the nature is fascinating and attractive for me. Finding answers and facts about nature is what I'm into because the nature world is so incredible and mysterious and exploring it is kind of a pleasure for me. This summer, I had the chance to participate in iGEM, it is a wonderful experience as I get to design and do the actual experiments about ecoli and antibiotics and stuff. This is an entry to the true micro world of biology and allows me to be familiar with the experiman process and difficulties. Hi, my name is Ao Shen. I am an IGEM competition participant from high school and I learned about IGEM competitions during an extracurricular activity I attended. I also learned about synthetic biology and other useful and interesting things. Normally when I'm not doing academic research, I'm exploring every side of the world that's different. For example, I would love to experience a variety of experiences that are interesting and can teach me lessons. So far, I've had enough interesting experiences or lessons learned in making mistakes at my age. Sometimes I'll write short stories, and my thoughts will spread out more when I'm by myself.
