Hi everyone, my name is Zhou Qianya. As an eleventh-grade student at a senior high school in Wuhan, I am
deeply immersed in not only my academic endeavors but also a myriad of diverse hobbies, which encompass
badminton, calligraphy, and reading. Among these, badminton holds a special place in my heart, for
participating in sports not only brings me immense joy but also serves as an effective stress-reliever.
When
it comes to academic subjects, I find myself particularly drawn to psychology and biology, exploring the
intricate functions of various parts of the brain in relation to human psychological and physiological
aspects with great fascination. I hope to have more opportunities to learn about these fields in the
future.
Hello, I'm Ning Yixin. I'm a sophomore now. I am a cheerful person, and I am also easy to get along
with,
will not lose my temper. I like to make friends with others and welcome everyone to come and play with
me. I
like many things, for example, I like fishing, I also like cooking, I also like sports, and I also love
beauty, sometimes I will study skin care and makeup. What I want to do most in the future is to study
the
cloning of organs, hoping that people will no longer die from organ failure, and hope that people with
organ
damage can suffer less.
Hello everyone, I'm Jason, a student from Wuhan Britain China high school with a profound love for
biology
and a strong drive towards innovation. My passion for biology stems from a lifelong curiosity about the
mechanisms that govern life and the potential for using biological knowledge to address challenges. With
this passion for exploration, I also become an aficionado of digital painting and rock music. iGEM is a
fantastic opportunity for us to gain hands-on experience, network with peers and professionals in the
field,
and contribute to the advancement of synthetic biology. Participating in iGEM resonates with me because
it
offers a unique platform to apply my biological knowledge creatively, collaborate with like-minded
individuals globally, and work towards pioneering solutions that have real-world implications. I am
excited
about the opportunity to contribute to the field of synthetic biology and make a tangible difference
through
the iGEM competition. Slogan: Brainy is the new sexy.
Hello, my name is Liu Lu, and I am 16 years old. In my free time, I enjoy watching American TV shows and
reading novels, which help me improve my English and broaden my horizons. I also love playing badminton,
which keeps me active and healthy. Additionally, I have a strong interest in biology and enjoy learning
about the natural world and how living organisms function. I am eager to explore more about this
fascinating
subject in the future.
Hello, my name is Wang Chuhan, and I am 15 years old. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and
swimming with my friends which help me relax and stay fit. Sometimes I would like to listen music, and my
favorite singer is David Zee Tao.I have a strong interest in both biology and history. I am always eager
to
explore and deepen my knowledge in these areas. My middle school teachers often consider me as a quick
learner and a self-driven student. I will continue to work hard
Hello, my name is Louis Zhou. My hobbies include basketball, swimming, and music. The reason why l
prefer
basketball to other ball games is not only because I’m talented in height, the main reason is that most
of
my friends play them. They taught me a lot about basketball and it’s enjoyable to play basketball with
them.
Swimming teaches me how to conquer fear. It’s hard to imagine that a boy who is afraid of water before
can
be skilled in swimming. In the time of relaxation, I’m used to listening the music published by Jay
Chou.
Not only because l like the style and the feeling conveyed in his songs, it’s also because some of his
songs
are suitable for my singing style to sing them.
On the other hand, besides biology, physics is another subject I study. Although I like them very much I
like Earth science the most. At the very beginning, I had no direction for my future major in college.
At
that time, my parents and teachers suggested I study materials science, and I followed their advice
because
I did not have the major I liked at that time. However, because of an opportunity, I found my favorite
direction, so although the discipline I study seems not so close to Earth science as geography, I am
still
willing to stick to what I like in my heart. This is my future plan for biology.
My name is Shuwen Yang, you can also call me Tina. I am now studying in Wuhan Britain-China School and
will
enter Grade 11. I like reading books and doing crafts in my daily life. In my study, I am very
interested in
biology, chemistry and mathematics. This is the main reason why I want to participate in IGEM. IGEM
provides
me with a good opportunity to improve my theoretical and practical abilities in the process of
cooperation
with peers and experimental learning, which enables me to better develop comprehensively. I look forward
to
exploring biology with team members from different cities who share a common academic goal.
Hello, my name is Christine, and I am a 10th-grade student with a passion for life and learning. I have
a
keen interest in perfumes, which I find both captivating and unique. Music is another source of joy for
me,
as it has the ability to transport me to different worlds. Traveling is also a significant part of my
life,
as I believe it broadens one's horizons and introduces us to new cultures and perspectives. Looking
towards
the future, I aspire to pursue a career in biochemistry. I am fascinated by the intricacies of life
sciences
and the potential impact it has on our society. With the knowledge and skills I acquire, I hope to
contribute meaningfully to society, whether it's through advancements in healthcare, environmental
conservation, or other vital areas. I am committed to my journey and excited about the opportunities
that
lie ahead.
My name is Yuhao Chen and I am an eleventh grader from Wuhan Foriegn Language School. I have a passion
in
vary of things, including classical literature, music (classic and pop), economics, sports (especially
swimming and golf), oil painting and perfume, and also, science technology especially molecular biology
and
data science. I believe in the big future of gene technology and willing to work hard on my big future,
so,
I’m here, an “iGEMer”.
Hi, I’m Kevin Wei, a grade-10 ENFJ from Beijing Huijia Private School. It seems that every team
member
in
our iGEM team shares some commonalities, like sports, music, interest in biology, and so on. For
instance,
frankly, I enjoy sports like swimming and badminton (but actually I’m pretty “bad” at “bad”minton) .
To
some
extent, swimming encourages me to get my body’s groove, and the stretched limbs will be enhanced
only if
one
beats their own, which consolidates one’s mentality of insist. In addition to exercises, indeed,
Piano
is a
necessity of my life. The elegant note actively aroused my recognition of the beauties of classical
songs.
Furthermore, I’m drivingly participating in the ARSM assessment which is the highest degree in Piano
tests.
Anticipating my career choices, I’m more interested in synthetic biology, rather than generating
doses
or
medicines; and I prefer to examine various exterior mechanical or interior molecular techniques that
may
emancipate patients from agonies.
Hi,I’m Christy . I’m from Wuhan number six high school and I’m sixteen years old now . Reading is my
daily
escape ,fueling my curiosity and imagination . It’s through books that I find inspiration and
understanding
of the world .Besides that , I’m also a music lover, where music enliven my days . As I embark on my
academic journey , I’m determined to pursue Biochemistry as my major . This decision stems from my
fascination with the works of life at the molecular level . Biochemistry bridges the gap between biology
and
chemistry , offering a unique perspective to unravel the mysterious of nature . I’m eager to contribute
to
this field and make a meaning impact in the scientific community .
