Dorine is a highly motivated individual with a passion for innovation and project development, which is why she leads our team. Her enthusiasm for being involved in multiple areas sometimes leads her to juggle many tasks at once, but her energy and drive for success keep her going. Alongside her leadership role, she remains deeply committed to science, actively contributing to laboratory experiments.

Samira is a meticulous and proactive person. Thanks to her creativity, our mascots have thrived. She is a talented person but be careful if you disagree with her, a long debate will surely follow.

Flavie is as determined in the project as she is in the gym. One thing is for sure: you can count on her. With her high-quality work, she never does things halfway. But with her straightforward personality, if something doesn’t please her, she’ll let you know!

Morjiane is a go-getter. Determined, nothing can slip past her. Beware of appearances, beneath her charming demeanor, she knows how to keep work on track. If you start to slack off, she won’t hesitate to remind you.

Be careful not to talk to her too much, or she'll get you involved in endless projects. Her energy is never-ending, and you can find her working on every aspect of the project. She is, above all, the driving force of the Finance team. You can count on her to passionately defend our project to any potential investors or anyone interested—or not.

While improving her British accent on the other side of the Channel, she has become an integral part of the team. From the top of Old Joe (a red tower in Birmingham), her shyness no longer holds her back from asking companies for funding. Ever heard of pathocentrism? She knows it like the back of her hand.

Camille's greatest strength is also her biggest flaw: her perfectionism. A problem with your image? Don't worry, she can spend 3 hours working on it pixel by pixel in Paint. But be careful not to eat pizza while discussing iGEM—unrealistic ideas might pop up!

Lilya, a fierce beast tamer, works in the lab where she is growing two monstrous organisms: a cute little bacterium and a kind and genetically modified yeast. Thanks to her pipette-handling skills and her talent for taming creatures, she is well on her way to creating the best insect trap in the world.

Jess is the mad scientist hiding in his flat. He will always be efficient and quick to do bibliographical research and construct fragments on SnapGene. But when the research starts to drag on, he likes to come out of his cave and share the project with other mad scientists. Even when he is fed up, the work he is given will always be done with care, because he doesn't want to disappoint Saccharomyces cerevisiae, his favourite living creature.

Aymeric is a radiant and uplifting individual, always knowing the right words to boost someone's spirits. Beyond his positive energy, he is highly dependable and brings strong scientific expertise to any project. His ability to combine emotional support with scientific precision makes him a unique and invaluable team member.

Perrine is a grounded and steady presence, especially in team settings, where she is the calm and reliable force. She takes her time to fully understand tasks before diving in, but once she starts, nothing can stop her momentum. Her methodical approach ensures thorough and efficient work. With a strong scientific mindset, she applies critical thinking and precision to every project she undertakes.

Haidi, with her Mediterranean roots, is friendly and approachable. Thanks to her contagious laughter, she brings great energy to meetings. Oh, and don’t count on her too much during the summer, the sun calls to her.
