YULIANG MA (马钰良)

Captain | Xi'an Shi Tieyi Zhongxue

Hi! I'm YuLiang Ma. I assume the position of team leader. When I was young, my parents bought me test tubes, plastic eyedroppers and pH test strips, and often explained knowledge in the field of biology and medicine to me. Therefore, I'm extremely fond of biology and chemistry. In the IGEM project, I not only completed the interview in human practice, team LOGO making and team WIKI, but also participated in the experiment part, which is where I gained the most. I became aware of tools commonly used in biology laboratories, such as pipette guns, electromagnetic stirrers, gel electrophoresis and so on. This is undoubtedly an unforgettable experience, I cherish my learning opportunity in IGEM, hoping to continue to engage in biochemistry research in the future, and become a real researcher.

TIAN SUN (孙田)

Nanjing Foreign language school British Colombia Academy

I am a senior high student and is one of the group members. I have done relative topic in biological study, talking about how to use Chinese traditional medicine to cure or release body's pain. In the future, I want to apply for major of anthropology and social study. Also, through attending iGEM, I want to learn some deeper knowledge in this field.

MOHAN HUA (花墨涵)

Nanjing Foreign Language School

Hey, I'm Selina, and I'm a high school student from NFLS. Through iGEM, I hope to learn more about synthetic biology and apply programming and mathematics to practical use. Hope having a wonderful iGEM experience!

HEYU LI (李和钰)

Nanjing Foreign Language School

Hey guys! I’m Heyu Li. I’m in year 11 at NFLSXL. In AP and competition courses in high school, I systematically learned basic knowledge such as cell biology and genetics, which inspired my interest in Biology. I‘m really looking forward to having a great experience in IGEM.

YONGHAN CHI (迟咏涵)

The Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University

Hi, I'm Yonghan Chi, but my friends often call me Dragana. I'm an eleventh-grade student at The Experimental High School Attached to Beijing Normal University. My passions are deeply rooted in biology, environmental science, and neuroscience, but my love for dance also plays a significant role in shaping who I am.

NIAN TONG (童年)

Nanjing Foreign Language School

I’m Shimmer, a senior student at Nanjing Foreign Language School. Intrigued by the wonders in the science world, I’ve been interested in physics and computer technology from a young age. Lucubrating complex mechanisms, I can acquire a sense of accomplishments when figuring them out. Participating in IGEM and researches focused on synthetic biology is not only fascinating but also challenging and demanding. I am quite excited about this project and I’ll make every effort to help the team move forward.

ZIXUAN MA (马梓瑄)

Nanjing No.1 Middle School

My name is Zixuan Ma from Nanjing, and I am currently studying and experimenting in the wet team of the IGEM project. I want to pursue a career in biomedical science in the future because I am very interested in biology. I believe that more and more talents will enter the field of synthetic biology in the future.

KAIYUAN XU (徐楷媛)

Nanjing Foreign Language School Xianlin Campus

I am a girl who loves traveling, and my goal is to travel around the world. Welcome everyone to visit Nanjing, the city where I live. There are many places of interest such as Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Confucius Temple, and the bustling Xinjiekou. I am very happy to participate in the wet team experiment in this iGEM project, and I have also met many like-minded partners.

RUOSHUI DU (杜若水)

Millbrook School

Hello, I’m Linna! I’m a junior at Millbrook School. I like to think about how cells in my body support me in interacting with the outside world, which gives me enormous energy and courage to learn new things. I was first introduced to Biology in elementary school, which opened my mind about the world and completely changed the way I view it. I want to continue my curiosity in Biology at college and use my knowledge to help more people.

FANCHAO SHEN (沈凡超)
