Overview
HBUT-Wuhan team added 11 new parts to the iGEM registry, including 8 basical parts and 3 composite parts. In order to produce small molecular weight polypeptide Vg in Pichia pastoris, we selected a methanol-induced vector pPIC9K, which contains AOX promoter, secretion signal peptide, resistance gene and so on. In addition, in order to increase the expression yield of polypeptides or facilitate the purification of products, we introduced fusion proteins, His-tag, acid-sensitive sites and other components. All the new elements have been submitted to the iGEM parts registry to comply with the bio-brick assembly standard. Herein, we briefly described the Parts section in the following table.
