Sabine Waigel is the Assistant Director of the Genomics Training and Education Center (GTEC) at the University of Louisville. She received her Dipl.-Ing. (FH) degree in Biotechnology from the FH Gießen-Friedberg in Germany.

Robert Monsen is an assistant professor of medicine and the director of the Molecular Modeling Facility at the UofL Health Brown Cancer Center. He obtained his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the University of Louisville School of Medicine.

Michael Martin is a senior engineer at the Nano Technology Center. He has a B.S. in physics from Austin Peay State University and a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Louisville in cell biology.

Kalina Andreeva-Stallard is a dedicated laboratory researcher at the Genomics Training and Education Core (GTEC) at the University of Louisville Brown Cancer Center. She earned her PhD in Molecular Biology and Plant Genetics from Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in Germany. With over 20 years of diverse research experience spanning microbiology, molecular biology, neuroscience, and bioinformatics, Kalina brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her work.

Scott Arico is a science teacher at DuPont Manual High School. He has a MS in Applied Ecology from Eastern Kentucky University and a MAT in Secondary Biology from Bellarmine University.

Kalp Poladia is a senior at duPont Manual High School. He has knowledge in biology from competitions as well as lab experience. In the future, he hopes to apply his knowledge in the medical field.

Daniel is a senior at duPont Manual High School. He has experience with competitive biology and lab techniques. He hopes to later pursue in the medical field.

Vishwaa is a sophomore at duPont Manual High School with experience in competitive biology and lab techniques. He enjoys chess, tennis, and has a passion for coding and biology, aiming to apply these skills in bioinformatics.

Sree is a junior at duPont Manual High School. She enjoys biology and writing and aims to use this skill to give back to the world.

Edward is a sophomore at duPont Manual High School. He loves math, coding, physics, chemistry, and clarinet. He wants to contribute to the team for computational chemistry and website development.

Joanna is a sophomore at duPont Manual High School. She enjoys writing and graphic design and aims to utilize her skills to positively benefit her team.

James is a senior at Louisville Collegiate School. He enjoys soccer and running track as well as playing the piano and eating delicious food. One day, he will go on to try to make his own company, creating something new and positively contributing to the world we live in.

Gowshik is a sophomore at duPont Manual High School. He loves playing tennis, is passionate about engineering and biology, and aims to help his team succeed and impact the world.

Aryan is a sophomore at duPont Manual High School. He loves building Legos, math, and science, and wants to utilize his skills toward the success of his team.

Bhuvan is a senior at duPont Manual High School. He enjoys competing in STEM competitions and winds down by playing the piano. He hopes to study and pursue a career in neuroscience.

Shruti, a senior at duPont Manual High School, is passionate about learning languages, VR, and biomedical engineering. She aims to use her interests to solve one problem at a time.

Leon is a sophomore at duPont Manual High School. He enjoys learning more about the sciences, mainly biology and chemistry. He believes this will be invaluable lab and science experience for the future to come.

Samuel is a sophomore at duPont Manual High School. He loves participating in STEM related competitions and hopes to uses his skills to pursue a career in biomedical engineering.

Shlok is a sophomore at duPont Manual High School. He enjoys mathematics, physics, and machine learning/artificial intelligence. He aims to apply them in the healthcare and technological sectors.
