Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. —— Helen Keller
We attended the Capital Biomedical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Elite Exchange Conference held in Beijing. During the conference, we exchanged knowledge and experiences related to entrepreneurship with other participants. We gained a lot of insights and inspiration about starting a business from this event.
We exchanged project ideas with the iGEM team from Southern Medical University. They provided us with valuable feedback, and we felt fortunate to receive insights and inspiration regarding wet lab experiments from them.
This year, we were honored to be invited to the exchange conference led by the Tsinghua University iGEM team, involving teams from several universities in Beijing. We discussed our projects and ideas with the iGEM teams from Tsinghua University and Peking University. We are very grateful for their valuable experience and advice on the overall planning and arrangement of our projects for our young team.
We also exchanged ideas with the iGEM team from Beijing Normal University. We discussed the challenges we faced in our projects, and we are very grateful for their suggestions for improvement, which we found to be extremely helpful.
We had a discussion with the team from Jilin University about dry lab experiments. We are very grateful to their team members for sharing their experience and advice on formula selection. We utilized their suggestions to improve our dry lab algorithms, resulting in even better predictive outcomes.
We found that to many people: bacteria have always been harmful to people, but what many people don't know is that from the perspective of synthetic biology, bacteria can also be engineered to treat tumors with high mortality,so we decided to draw a cartoon with JLU-igem to help more people to accept the concept of Bacteriological therapy.

CCIC is a self-organized iGEM community in China. In 2024, the conference will be held in Suzhou. This offline gathering provided us with numerous opportunities to communicate and collaborate with other teams.
At the conference, we presented our project's progress and received many questions and feasibility suggestions from experts in various fields. We addressed their inquiries and implemented some of their advice to tackle the challenges our team is currently facing.
With the development of synthetic biology, more and more microorganisms are being engineered for disease treatment, and EcN is no exception. During our discussions at CCIC, we noticed that many teams this year are using EcN as a biological chassis. As a result, we decided to come together to discuss the safety of EcN and other potential applications.
In the meeting, we covered topics related to the past, present, and future of EcN. Although our ideas may be quite immature, we compiled some of the content from the discussions and wrote a white paper. We sincerely hope that this document will be helpful to future iGEM teams.
At the same time We collaborated with some iGEM teams to write the ethics white paper.you can see them below:
The Dry Lab Conference is jointly organized by several iGEM teams from various universities to discuss common challenges encountered in dry lab experiments and how to address them. This year, our team participated in the conference, where we shared the methods we used in our dry lab work and received valuable suggestions from other teams. We are very honored to have their support and assistance.
We were invited to attend a Project Communication conference hosted by several universities. At the conference, we shared the challenges and outcomes of our program. Other teams pointed out the shortcomings in our project presentation and offered some suggestions for improvement, we were pleasantly surprised to find that these suggestions were very effective, we are very grateful for the help they provided us.
We sincerely thank all the teams mentioned above for their support. We wish them the best of luck in achieving outstanding results during this jamboree.
