We are Missouri-Miners, a small iGEM team located at Missouri University of Science & Technology in Rolla, Missouri, USA. We have been particiating in iGEM since 2007, most recently with our myRNA breast cancer detection system. As members of an Engineering University we bring a unique perspective to the iGEM competition with an emphasis on the engineering iterative design process. This year we have been working on a Modular Infectious Disease Annihilation System (MIDAS) which aims to combat multi drug resitance in bacteria.
