Chen Yan is the primary PI of Jilin-China team.She offers crucial commercial assistance, helping us navigate our projects effectively.She evaluates our initiatives and provides necessary recommendations and equipment, ensuring our work is well-supported and optimized.

I am Associate Professor Zhan Yang from the School of Life Sciences of Jilin University. In this year, I am still the PI of Jilin China team, guiding the students to complete the project successfully. During the eight years of iGEM, I have witnessed many excellent students and gained a lot. This year, I will continue to lead the students to explore the field of synthetic biology and hope that we can really help the people in need.
