The Team

The East Coast Biocrew is a group of high school students and their mentors from several states in the East Coast of the USA. We meet virtually throughout the week and in person every Saturday at the Baltimore Underground Science Space (BUGSS) community lab where we conduct our experiments. The team comes from many schools, backgrounds, and are of different ages, but we are joined by our passion for making the world a better place using synthetic biology!
