Hi, I'm Mana! I'm a senior at Newton South High School, and I’m beyond excited to be leading the 2024 Boston Boslab iGEM team. When I’m not completely drowning in igem work at Boslab, I spend my time sleeping or reading (I’m a hardcore homebody). I joined iGEM because I was fascinated by the idea of engineering organisms to do our bidding. The potential to solve world problems is huge, but let’s be real—even just creating bacteria that produces the most MSG ever? Now, that’s life changing.
