Contribution
Explore how we've made impactful contributions to the iGEM community, providing valuable resources and support to inspire and guide future teams on their journey.
Throughout our project, our team has contributed significantly to the iGEM community. We are excited to share various resources highlighting our commitment to enhancing collaboration within iGEM. Whether you're part of an iGEM team, a student, or simply passionate about this field, we encourage you to explore the resources below. We hope these contributions will provide valuable support to future teams on their iGEM journey.
Parts
Our team has designed and registered several composite parts for this year's project. Among our most notable is the Nanobody Scaffold with Chimeric Peptide, which has been key to our experiments. These parts were crucial in testing and validating our system. For more detailed information about these parts, you can visit our parts page.
Protocols
We have conducted a series of experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of our design. This includes testing the pmsC-pmsB expression construct and degQ expression construct in various conditions. These results offer valuable insights that we hope will guide future teams working on similar synthetic biology projects. For a comprehensive look at our experiments, click the link below.
Inclusivity
As part of our commitment to inclusivity, we’ve organized events such as the Inclusivity Café, where we fostered discussions on diversity in STEM. Our panelists shared unique perspectives on navigating diverse cultural and professional environments. We believe these conversations will continue to inspire future iGEM teams to create inclusive environments in their projects.
Entrepreneurship
We have developed a robust entrepreneurship framework, helping future teams explore the commercialization potential of their projects. Through participation in programs like the THRIVE Studio Sprint and our experiences with industry mentors, we’ve gained valuable insights on validating and scaling our solution. Check out our entrepreneurship page to learn more.
Modelling
Our modeling efforts focused on molecular dynamics simulations and docking studies to verify protein binding and structural predictions. These computational models helped refine our wet lab experiments and may offer valuable tools for future iGEM teams developing biopesticide solutions.
