The industrial production of vitamin B6 is characterized by a series of chemical transformations, which ultimately result in a prolonged production cycle that is unable to meet the requisite production demands. Furthermore, the production process generates corrosive substances that cause significant damage to the equipment, and the price of vitamin B6 often experiences a dramatic increase due to environmental issues and shutdowns. The biosynthesis of vitamin B6 can be efficiently converted from a substrate to a single product through microbial fermentation. This process does not require high temperature and high pressure reaction conditions, is environmentally friendly, and has less pressure on the treatment of wastewater and waste gas. Therefore, it has a promising future. It is therefore evident that accelerating the construction of VB6-producing strains and increasing the yield will overturn the existing chemical VB6 process. This will have significant economic and social benefits, facilitate the upgrading of China’s vitamin industry, and help to address environmental protection issues.

It seems inevitable that the biosynthesis of vitamin B6 will lead to the emergence of a new industrial model in the near future. We are committed to biotechnology innovation, the accelerated deployment of synthetic biology cutting-edge technology, the expedited progress of production capacity construction, and the assurance of production capacity, with the objective of providing high-quality products and innovative solutions for customers in the field of nutrition and health worldwide. Once our approach has been accepted and brought to market, the subsequent critical step is commercialization.
