Throughout the course of our project, we worked on a series of experiments with the objective of exploring the antimicrobial efficacy of antimicrobial peptides produced by thermophilic bacteria Brevibacillus borstelensis AK1 against pathogens associated with Skin and Soft Tissue Infections (SSTIs) and evaluate their potential to develop them into therapeutic agents.
