TEAM LEAD
LUCY DAIN-WILLIAMS
Lucy is a recent graduate of Biomedical Engineering. She is passionate about the advancement of research and is hoping to lead the team to advance sustainable production of natural rubber.
CO-WET LAB LEAD
EDWARD WU
Edward is studying Molecular Bioengineering at Imperial, but has a habit of mysteriously popping up in Biochem classes held by other departments. He can't get enough of the wet lab life. Realising that AI might soon out-compete humans in protein engineering, he's currently drowning in a comical sea of existential crisis.
LARISSA POTAPOVA
Larissa is a final year biological sciences student with an interest in plant sciences, bioengineering, and interdisciplinary research. She is very excited to work with moss and to apply the skills obtained during her degree to tackle a global problem.
WET LAB TEAM
REMY BENOIT-SMITH
Remy is a final year biochemistry student interested in synthetic biology. He has a long term grudge against pcr, but hopes to make peace with the technique.
MORRIS CHEN
Morris is a second year molecular Bioengineering student with an interest in synthetic biology. He is hoping to engage in more synthetic biology applications and have fun.
CANSU AYABAKAN
Cansu is a final year molecular bioengineering student with an interest in regenerative medicine. she is hoping to gain practical skills in synthetic biology and make friends along the way!
ZHINING ZHANG
Zhining is a research masters student in system and synthetic biology and is very passionate about synthetic biology and neuroscience. she hopes to apply synthetic biology to create more interesting "creatures"!
DIYAN JAIN
Diyan is a bachelor (of science) in Biotechnology with an interest in systems and synthetic biology. He joined iGEM to help "cell-ebrate" innovation in moss and bacterial genetic engineering and contribute to this "gene-ius" synthetic biology project.
LUCIE PAOLI
Lucie is a Molecular Bioengineering Masters student with an interest in biomaterials. Working on this biomaterial synthesis project will allow her to diversify her lab skills and experience with different chassis, all while enjoying her time with her project partners.
DRY LAB TEAM
DAVID DAVID
David is a final year chemical engineering student with an interest in computational biology. He is interested in learning more about collaborating with experimentalists.
DRY LAB TEAM
CHINMAY HARITAS
Chinmay is a first year system biology PhD student with an interest in system thinking. He is in iGEM to harness the full power of modular microbial manufacturing and take over the world in his antihero arc, while assembling a team of like minded scientists.
HUMAN PRACTICES LEAD
EILEEN CHANDRA
Eileen is a final year Medical Biosciences student with an interest in neuroscience. She is wishing to dip her toes into the world of synthetic biology and explore new fields of science!
WIKI TEAM LEAD
JASON LI
Jason is a third-year student studying chemistry with an interest in spectroscopy and blood monitoring technology. he joined iGEM because he admires the multi-disciplinary nature of the project, and he thinks gene technology is so cool.
